beyond the pain:

Transforming Grief and Disappointment
into Growth and Healing

Navigating disappointment is both an art and a science

Disappointment is an inevitable yet unpredictable part of life. It can appear suddenly, throwing your life into chaos; or it can spread gradually, taking years to fully process. Thankfully, it's never too late to put old disappointments to rest and create new, empowering narratives.

Beyond the Pain serves as a roadmap for turning life's letdowns into opportunities for growth and healing. By recognizing disappointment for what it is, rather than creating a false narrative around it, you can reclaim your power and take control of your life.

This book delves into the multifaceted nature of disappointment, normalizing its impact while encouraging intentional self-reflection. It also offers tangible strategies and actions to help you uncover a path toward healing, fostering a deeper understanding of your emotions, values and self.

about the author

Peacefully practicing in wine country is author, yogi therapist, wife and mother Madhur-Nain Webster. After studying international business marketing in college, she changed majors as she realized that her calling was to help people. Ultimately she earned her master's degree and then went on to become a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who practices in the Napa Valley to-day.

Having grown up in a family and community of yogis, it was natural for Webster to integrate the practices of Kundalini meditation and technology into her work with therapy clients. "Just talking doesn't always work, said Webster, "I am a solution-focused therapist who looks at supporting client change and growth by empowering themselves from the inside out." Therefore, about 13 years ago Webster began prescribing meditation for therapy interventions. She started to record music to support the focus and process for daily meditation, for her clients. To date she has released more than 40 meditation singles and four CDs.

Now she has written the book on mindful meditation,"The Stressless Brain,' which Webster describes as an introduction for people to use meditative tools to change, transition, and ultimately heal their stress and anxiety, "It teaches you how to naturally fight the stress and anxiety that controls your life. This book is easy to read and learn how and why you may want to try to learn how to meditate on a daily basis." A bonus is that each book contains 37 of Webster's healing and centering digital mantras and musical downloads. "Without stress and anxiety, our minds are free to process thoughts and emotions," she added. In addition, Webster practices, teaches and trains students to both practice and teach Kundalini yoga and meditation, in California and Asia. Locals and visitors alike can attend meditation classes with Madhur-Nain either privately at her office, or at Yoga Passion in Napa.
