Sat Naam (is a Bij -a seed- mantra)
Sat means truth and Naam means identity
Mantra helps bring the mind into focus and connect the subconscious and conscious mind which brings change to how we react or act. The mantra Sat Naam is like a seed which contains all the knowledge of a tree, words are like a seed. They can grow beauty or destruction.
Allow your breath to become very still. You can focus on the silent mantra to teach your mind to be focused and move past the stress which is being triggered. Your sympathetic nervous system will go wild. Focusing on your breath will help to activate your parasympathetic nervous system.
Inhale, with breath held stretch your arms above your head and stretch your spine. Relax your breath and shake your hands and arms for 15-30 seconds. Relax.
