About the Project

I have been practicing Kundalini meditations since I was in my mother’s belly. I love meditation. As a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist I am always thinking of tools to support my clients goals and life. I have been teaching meditation to my clients for over fifteen years. I even wrote a book called The Stressless Brain which is all about the techniques of Kundalini meditation, research and psychology to help stress and anxiety.

Although some people don’t feel comfortable chanting in sanskrit, I still encourage them to meditate, so I wanted to pick the most popular religions in the world and create the first pranayama meditations for each faith. Thus the CD Sacred Chants was birthed.

Originally I was going to chant all the prayers. Then I heard my son, Ashur Webster, and his friends from the Napa High Choir, sing at Mont La Salle in Napa Ca. It brought tears to my eyes. I thought why don’t I have my son and some of his friends sing the prayers. The Sacred Chants project evolved to feature these Napa choir youth. Their hard work and willingness to do something new has resulted in this these 7 incredible chants. I hope that it touches your heart as much as it has mine. Prayer really is the first meditation. Enjoy this CD by choosing which prayer speaks to you, sit quietly with your eyes closed and breath long and deep into your belly for the whole prayer. Practice daily to create a deeper change of healing and internal growth.
